Job description

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: Competitive, based on experience.

Role responsibilities:

-          Plan and deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students.

-          Work with various schools in Derbyshire.

-          Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and progress.

-          Employ various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

-          Assess and monitor the progress of all pupils, providing constructive feedback and support.

-          Implement effective teaching strategies.

-          Enhance pupil engagement and enjoyment of the wider curricular areas.

-          Support children with additional needs.

-          Adapt teaching and resources to best support each child individually.

Requirements:

-          QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualifications.

-          Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS).

-          Strong curriculum knowledge

-          Experience in SEND Settings (desirable)

-          Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their maximum potential.

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Flexibility, willingness and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community.

-          Excellent behaviour management strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
