Permanent SEN Teacher – Bury St Edmunds
Start Date: January 2025 or sooner
A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teacher to join their outstanding team at their Bury St Edmunds site. This is a permanent, full-time position within a thriving and supportive educational environment that caters to students with a range of special educational needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic student development
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience working with SEMH/SEN students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
