SEN Learning Mentor Needed - Birmingham
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: 6th January 2025
Pay: £90 - £105 per day
Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Are you dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel are seeking an SEN Learning Mentor to join a mainstream secondary school in Birmingham, working with learners in the specialist provision unit. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to students with SEN to enhance their learning experience.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Mentor students to boost their confidence and independence.
- Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to teachers and parents.
- Collaborate with staff to implement individualized learning plans.
Requirements:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- A passion for helping students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
