SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: England, Greater London, Wandsworth

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £85 - £110 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
  • Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in supporting students with SEN in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies to support individual needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience working in a secondary school environment

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Classroom-based role with some outdoor activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
