Role Overview:
As a 1-1 INA, you will work closely with secondary school students who require additional support to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will play a crucial role in their educational journey, providing personalized assistance and fostering a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to individual students with SEN in a 1-1 setting.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet specific needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting the student’s social and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective support.
- Monitor and track the student's progress, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Support the student in developing independence and self-confidence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with secondary school students with SEN.
- Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
