SEN Secondary Teacher
Location: England, Greater London, Wandsworth Common
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £150 - £210 Per day
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises in education
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN support strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Experience with assistive technology for students with SEN
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours in a secondary school in Wandsworth Common, Greater London. The teacher will be required to work closely with students with SEN, their families, and other school staff to support the students' learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
