SEN Teaching Assistant (Long Term)
Start date: January- July 2024
Contract: Full Time
Location: Dulwich, South-East London
We are working closely with a SEN School situated in Dulwich who are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant from Christmas 2024.
This role will require you to; support class Senior LSA’s and Teachers with the preparation of resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students, provide 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher for the delivery of skills-based learning, and work closely with class Teacher to report on progress using an evidence-based approach.
As a TA, your duties will include:
- Providing support to pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community, to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
- Empowering and supporting pupils with a range of needs, such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals.
- Promoting equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
- Placing emphasis on support and empowerment for our pupils.
- Promoting a greater understanding of Special Education issues and upholding the values of the school.
- Providing high-quality support in all aspects of the role.
- Participating in physical intervention and personal care routines, if required.
Pay
We provide a competitive rate of pay of up to £100 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
