Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cambridge
Type: Full-Time

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant and help shape the future for students who need your support the most!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Assist in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure each student’s needs are met.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is preferred
  • Background Check: Successful candidates will be required to pay for and undergo an enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
