SEN Care Support
Teaching personnel are looking to appoint SEN support workers who have a background in the care sector. This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for a change of career but still with a focus on working with individuals who need supporting. The school create a warming and caring environment for all its students where education is at the forefront of its policies.
Key responsibilities involve:
- Have experience supporting individuals in personal care.
- Adhere to good behavioural standards and help implement them.
- Quickly build good relationships with pupils.
- Effectively help pupils academically and on an emotional and physical level.
- Have experience working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Key points:
- Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm term time only
Any outdoor or health and safety qualifications are desirable but training opportunities in outdoor education can be undertaken.

To work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38 plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
