Are you passionate about making a significant impact on the lives of young individuals who have experienced trauma and face various challenges? Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a specialized provision in North-West Bristol, dedicated to guiding students toward a positive future through the support of caring staff and role models. Do you have the qualities needed to connect with these students and build trusting relationships?
We are seeking an individual who is confident in de-escalating challenging behaviors, highly resilient, dependable, and, above all, empathetic. This role requires understanding and compassion, as these are critical to supporting the children. While previous classroom experience is not necessary, a caring attitude and a genuine desire to help these children are essential.
About the Role:
- Start Date: September, with the potential for a contract for the right candidate.
- Experience: No prior classroom experience is required, although it is advantageous.
- Class Size: Small groups of 6-8 students, allowing for meaningful connections.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (08:30-3:30), term time only, ensuring a healthy work/life balance.
- Compensation: £84 - £95 per day, paid weekly. Convenient commuting options and parking are available.

- Passion: A deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of students.
- Confidence: The ability to work with young people who display challenging behaviors and have difficulty managing their emotions.
- Skills: Experience and proficiency in de-escalation techniques and working with challenging behaviors, whether with children or adults.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
