Secondary School Teaching Assistants - Central Cornwall (Temporary, Full-Time)
Position: Secondary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Central Cornwall
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time

About the Role:
Are you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School Teaching Assistants to join our team in central Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting students' educational journeys on a temporary, full-time basis starting in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their needs.
- Contribute to the overall development and progress of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
- A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
