Secondary School Teachers

Location: Clapham, Greater London, England

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £150 - £210 per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Evaluate and assess students' progress regularly
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Thorough knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Degree in Education or relevant subject

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques
  • Strong IT skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

This role primarily involves working full-time in a classroom setting, with occasional evening or weekend work for meetings or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
