Secondary Supply Teacher

Location: England, Greater London, Clapham

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £150 - £175 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students.
  • Implement the national curriculum guidelines and adhere to school policies.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support student development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

Experience:

Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the secondary school curriculum.
  • Effective classroom management techniques.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to students' individual needs.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours on a temporary basis.
  • Classroom-based teaching in a secondary school.
  • Collaboration with colleagues and school staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
