Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Clapham, Greater London, England
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £90 - £105 per day
Job Duties:
The Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant will provide classroom support for students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting. Responsibilities include assisting with class activities, helping students with work, and providing additional support as needed. This role requires close collaboration with teaching staff to ensure students' educational needs are met.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant education or special educational needs qualifications
Education:
- Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of special educational needs practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional special educational needs qualifications
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily takes place in a secondary school environment
- May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate school schedules

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
