Secondary SEN Teacher
Location: England, Greater London, Lambeth
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £150 - £205 Per day
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging lessons to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with varying SEN requirements
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support when necessary
- Collaborate with SENCOs, parents, and external agencies to create individual education plans for students
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting
- Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises in education
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching secondary students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with SEN
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
- Training in specific interventions for students with SEN
Working Conditions:
- Work within a secondary school environment in Lambeth, Greater London
- Full-time position with regular school hours
- Collaborative work with SENCOs, parents, and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
