A fantastic Secondary School in the Crowborough area are seeking a science technician on a full-time post for a September start. Ideally suitable for a Science or STEM graduate, this role can be a fantastic platform for a career in Science and to gain experience working in an educational environment.
The Role
- You will be responsible for the providing technical support in the Science department
- Assist teachers’ requirements including setting up demonstrations
- Assist during Science lessons and when request by teachers
- Set up and clear up equipment before and after lessons, examinations or projects
- Ensure health and safety measures are in place inside and outside the classroom
- Full time, Term time only from September
Person Specification:
- Previous experience as a Technician with a secondary school would be desirable but not essential
- A degree in science would be desirable but not essential
- Strong GCSE and A levels (essential)
- Organised, punctual and reliable individual

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
