Join Our Team as a Secondary Cover Supervisor!
Location: Wimbledon, Greater London
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £120 - £165 per day

Are you confident in leading a classroom and passionate about supporting students' learning? We are looking for a dedicated Secondary Cover Supervisor to work in a vibrant school in Wimbledon, stepping in when regular teachers are absent.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supervise students across various subjects, ensuring a productive and safe learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans, keeping students on track with their studies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive atmosphere for learning.
  • Provide support to students with their work and assist with any questions they may have.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and student behaviour.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with children or young adults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage classrooms effectively.

Desirable qualifications:

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or First Aid certification would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
