JOB DESCRIPTION

 As the UK's Number 1 Education Recruitment Agency, we are looking to add Secondary Cover Supervisors to our flexible workforce across Essex, in particular, Cover Supervisors who can work in the Braintree area.

About the role

The Secondary Cover Supervisor role, is the perfect flexible position.  If you are a Teaching Assistant looking to take their next step in the education career, perhaps you are looking at becoming a teacher in the future (we also offer our future teacher programme and work with many ITT programmes), this is the perfect opportunity to gain more experience.  If you already have experience as a Teacher abroad but want to learn more about the UK curriculum, this too, is a great opportunity.  Or if you are already a Cover Supervisor and are looking for additional work, either flexible or full-time, please get in contact. 

The exciting and varied role of a Cover Supervisor can vary from day to day. You will visit a number of different schools or work within the same School.  We are fortunate enough to work with some of the best Secondary schools across Essex. All the work you will deliver will be planned and in addition to this, you are only expected to work 8:30-3:30pm and no longer.

Requirements

To be considered for a Secondary Cover Supervisor role you will:

  • Experience within the classroom, and the confidence to lead a class
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Be available between 1-5 days per week

Salary

£90 to 110 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
