Job Opportunity: SEMH Sports Coach – Full-Time, Term-Time Only (Temp to Perm)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic SEMH Sports Coach to join our team in Leyland on a full-time, term-time only basis. This is a fantastic opportunity with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

About the Role:

  • Location: Leyland
  • Contract: Temp to Perm
  • Hours: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
  • Start Date: Immediate

As an SEMH Sports Coach, you will be at the heart of our students' development, using sports as a tool to engage, motivate, and inspire. You will work closely with a supportive team to design and deliver a tailored sports curriculum that meets the unique needs of our students. Your role will be crucial in helping them build confidence, develop social skills, and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions tailored to students with SEMH needs.
  • Support students in developing their physical and social skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to support individual learning plans.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.

About You:

  • Experience working with young people with SEMH needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
