Position: Science Teacher
Location: Stockport
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £150 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (potential for permanent placement)
Are you a passionate and experienced Science Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Teaching Personnel is thrilled to partner with a high-achieving secondary school in Stockport to recruit a Science Teacher who can inspire students and drive academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons in biology, chemistry, or physics to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Preparing students for GCSE exams with tailored lesson plans and revision sessions.
- Utilizing innovative teaching methods to engage and challenge learners of all abilities.
- Collaborating with the Science Department to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
- Supporting the school’s commitment to fostering curiosity and a love for science.
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS or equivalent qualification with specialization in one or more science disciplines.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to lesson planning.
- Experience preparing students for examinations and tracking progress effectively.
- A commitment to professional development and contributing to school life.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
