Job Title: Full-Time Science Teacher
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Are you passionate about igniting a love for science in young minds? Do you want to inspire the next generation of scientists and critical thinkers? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic school in Rochdale.
About the Role:
As a full-time Science Teacher, you will:
- Teach across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of A-level teaching for the right candidate.
- Deliver engaging, innovative lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and academic excellence.
- Work collaboratively with other department members to create and refine the science curriculum.
- Support the personal and academic development of your students through regular feedback and assessment.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have a degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Be enthusiastic, organised, and committed to student success.
- Have experience teaching in a UK school, preferably at both KS3 and KS4.
- Be ready to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or initiatives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
