Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through various assessment methods
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching Science at the secondary level
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Science curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Proficient in classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Occasional participation in extracurricular activities may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
