Teacher of Science

Full time, Temporary, Till the end of the academic year

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in the PR4 area of Lancashire for a full-time role starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and inspire students in their scientific studies through to the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Science (KS3 & KS4)
  • Plan and prepare engaging and effective teaching resources
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support improvement
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Maintain classroom discipline and promote student well-being

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
  • Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 levels
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their potential
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
