Key Responsibilities

• Delivering High-Quality Lessons: Teach Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) across secondary schools, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
• Curriculum Development: Design and implement lessons that cater to diverse student needs and help them achieve their full potential.
• Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress, provide detailed feedback, and set targets to foster continuous improvement.
• Pastoral Care: Support students' academic and personal development, offering guidance and encouragement as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with school staff and colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
• Subject Expertise: Ability to teach Science at secondary level, with specialisation in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics preferred.
• Teaching Experience: Previous secondary school teaching experience is advantageous; Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.
• Passion for Teaching: A strong commitment to inspiring and supporting students' learning and development.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Flexibility: Availability to teach full-time or part-time based on the needs of the schools and your schedule.
