Position: Science Teacher

Location: NN1, Northampton

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Northampton, who are looking to employ new Teacher of Science on a full time basis. The school are looking to take on a passionate teacher who demonstrates a care for education and allows students to flourish. The school are a fairly new school in Northampton so has excellent facilities for teaching and learning. The successful candidate would be working in an extremely supportive environment which offers in house training within their “training hub” as well as cross networking amongst the other schools in the trust to boost your skills and knowledge and healthcare support benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for various science subjects, fostering a love for the subject among students.
• Utilize hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and other interactive teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary concepts and enhance the overall science curriculum.

Requirements;

• Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• Qualification in Science or experience Teaching the subject
• 2 + Years Teaching Secondary Students
• Strong Classroom Management
• Good Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• Ability to Teach Science up to A-level standard
• A child only enhanced DBS (Or prepared to apply for one)
• Full time availability
