Are you a passionate Science teacher ready for a new challenge this September? We have a fantastic opportunity at our client school in Middlesbrough, and we're eager to hear from both Early Career Teachers (ECT) and fully qualified teachers.

Position: Science Teacher
Pay: MPS/UPS depending on qualification and experience 
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2024

About the Role:

  • Teach Science to KS3 and KS4 students of varying abilities.
  • Engage in and support a range of extracurricular activities.
  • Contribute to the continued success and improvement of our department.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess Science lessons tailored to meet diverse student needs.
  • Utilize our excellent facilities and modern equipment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • A child-only DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one (we can assist with this during registration).
  • Two professional references from recent employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
