Key Responsibilities:

•Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

•Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

•Design and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities.

•Assess, track, and monitor student progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.

•Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to continually improve teaching strategies.

•Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development, ensuring safeguarding. 

 

Ideal Candidate:

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject.

•Passionate about science education and motivating students to explore and excel.

•Strong classroom management skills with a creative approach to teaching.

•Ability to differentiate learning and provide tailored support for students with diverse needs.

•Enthusiastic team player with a commitment to the ethos of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
