Science Teacher (Key Stage 3)

An alternative provision school in Liverpool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. The school provides a supportive environment for Key Stage 3 students whose place in mainstream education is at risk.

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering a broad and balanced Science curriculum, engaging students with exciting learning opportunities that build on their interests and deepen their understanding. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons tailored to the individual needs of Key Stage 3 students.
- Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and building confidence.
- Collaborate with the wider school team to ensure a holistic approach to education.
- Promote a positive and safe learning environment that prioritizes student wellbeing.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 level.
- A nurturing and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
