Job description

we are currently recruiting for a Secondary Science teacher to teach KS3 & KS4 at a secondary school within the LE5 area. The role is a full time position commencing ASAP and is for the rest of the academic year. Teaching Personnel are looking for only the highest quality educators that are experienced with leading and delivering lessons across Key stages and we provide unrivalled support and opportunities for our educators.

This role is Monday to Friday 8.15-3.45 and planning and preparation will be required for this role , however PPA time will be given during school time.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through various assessment methods
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in departmental meetings and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Science or related field

Education and Experience:

  • Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrated success in improving student attainment and progress
  • Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Confidence to lead classrooms and engage students in learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
