Job description

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the wonders of Science? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team, working in various secondary schools across Hull. If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess an enhanced DBS, we want to hear from you!

Position: Secondary School Science Teacher

Location: Hull Secondary Schools
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time positions available

About the Role:

As a Science Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering curiosity and a love for science among students. You will be adaptable, creative, and able to manage diverse classroom dynamics, ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality science education and helping students achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
