Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Science Teacher with a passion for inspiring students and helping them reach their full potential in science. Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Teaching: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the science curriculum, engaging students through both practical and theoretical learning.
  • Student Engagement: Inspire curiosity and passion for the sciences, helping students develop critical thinking and a deeper understanding of scientific principles.
  • Assessment and Progress Tracking: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support students in achieving their academic targets.
  • Behaviour Management: Enforce the school’s behaviour policies, maintaining a positive and orderly learning environment.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Work collaboratively within the Science Department and participate in school-wide CPD sessions to continually enhance teaching strategies and subject expertise.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: Degree in a relevant science subject, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
