Science Teacher required for secondary school in Havant

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster curiosity and a love of Science through engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students of all abilities, ensuring progress for all.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.
  • Take an active role in the wider school community, participating in events and initiatives that enhance student experiences.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a degree in a relevant subject.
  • Demonstrate a passion for Science and the ability to inspire students through engaging teaching.
  • Have strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach across the Science curriculum.
  • Show excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
