Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Gosport is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified teacher with QTS or an early career science teacher looking to continue supporting students in the absence of the regular class teacher.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons that inspire students and support their continued learning.
  • Maintain a high standard of teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the school’s supportive staff to ensure a smooth transition during the maternity cover period.
  • Track and monitor pupil progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to meet individual learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
