Science Teacher

ARE YOU A QUALIFIED SCIENCE TEACHER WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE TEACHING WITHIN A SECONDARY SCHOOL?

Teaching Personnel, the UK's market leader in education recruitment, are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher to work at one of our amazing partner schools within the Coleshill/Solihull area of Birmingham. The school work in close partnership with Teaching Personnel and will be fully supportive of whoever is appointed to the position.

We're known for our five-star staffing solutions and excellent service to all of our educators and we're currently seeking a passionate Science teacher who will thrive in a full time science teaching position with a view to a temp-to-perm position available.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • PGCE or schools direct in secondary science completed
  • We encourage ECTs to apply
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Dedication and commitment to safeguarding principles

 

Job Role/Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high quality science lessons 
  • Differentiate lessons to cater to varying abilities within each class
  • Regularly and promptly assess pupil progress and provide informative and timely feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department to ensure it is a top-performing subject within the school
  • Show a dedication to continuous professional development
  • Contribute to wider school community through extra curricular and parents evening (where required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
