Science Teacher

About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting a love for science and critical thinking.
  • Use practical experiments and interactive teaching methods to bring biology, chemistry, and physics to life.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored feedback to ensure all learners achieve their potential.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive Science department to develop creative resources and curriculum planning.
  • Inspire students to excel in their GCSEs and consider future STEM pathways.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Have a passion for science and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Have experience or a keen interest in contributing to extracurricular STEM initiatives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
