A well-regarded Ofsted rated GOOD secondary school in Burnley, Lancashire is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their permanent staff from January 2025. Role Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)
- A passion for Science and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to contribute to wider school activities and enrichment programs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
