Science Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified Teacher of Science to join a supportive and talented team at one of their partner schools in North Bristol (BS7).
The school currently have a Science team able to deliver Biology, Chemistry and Physics, so any specialism can be catered for. Boasting a very well-resourced department supported by a Senior Science technician, the school serve a diverse and vibrant community of children.
The school are seeking an individual who:
- Has experience planning and consistently delivering high quality KS3 & 4 Science lessons
- Is a well-qualified specialist, holding QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree and can teach across KS3 & 4.
- Holds high expectations of work and behaviour.
Your duties will specifically include:
- Planning outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all students whilst developing a high-quality sequenced curriculum.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of students and take appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential through exceptional methods of feedback.
- Meeting the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and High Attaining students.
- Recognise, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the students experience & learning.
- Empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the development of others.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
