A highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join the staff of a rapidly improving secondary school in Essex. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and assessments.
- Foster a love of learning and curiosity in students, promoting academic progress and a growth mindset.
- Support and uphold the school’s ethos, policies, and commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
- Participate in collaborative planning and ongoing professional development.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Science or a closely related subject.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality Science teaching, with evidence of student progress.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues.
- A passion for Science and a desire to contribute to the wider life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
