Job Title: General Science Teacher
Location: Birmingham United Kingdom
Start Date: Immediate Start
Contract: Full-Time (Temporary/Permanent)

QTS Required - ECT's welcome

Salary: £30,000 - £46,500 per annum (Depending on experience)

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic General Science Teachers to join secondary schools in Liverpool for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 and make a real impact on students’ academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in line with the national curriculum
  • Plan and assess student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Use innovative teaching methods to inspire students and develop their scientific knowledge and skills
  • Work closely with other staff and departments to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Specialism in General Science, with experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Strong subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 is a bonus)
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
