Job Opportunity: Full-Time Science Teacher at a Secondary School in Bacup.

Position: Full-Time Science Teacher
Location: Bacup, Lancashire
Duration: Initially for a term from September, with potential for a permanent contract
Start Date: September 2024

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? A reputable secondary school in Bacup are seeking an enthusiastic Science teacher to join their team for the upcoming term, with the possibility of a permanent contract based on performance and fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to secondary school students.
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student development and academic excellence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
