Are you a new or experienced Teacher of Science looking for your next teaching placement? Are you eager to experience flexible working and try working in the schools within your local area?

This large school, based in Northumberland are looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of Science to teach KS3 and KS4 classes. Working in this Secondary school as part of an established team, the desired Teacher will be working across the full ability range. This full time teaching role is required for the full academic year.

Your role:

  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils
  • Follow and implement school policies and procedures
  • Work coherently as part of a team within the Science Department
  • Elements of lesson planning and marking may be required

Non-negotiables:

  • Recent and relevant UK teaching experience
  • UK-recognized teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status
  • Excellent Science subject knowledge
  • Confidence delivering the Key Stage 3 and 4 Science curriculum
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the Head of the Science Department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
