Position: Science Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: South Manchester
Employment Type: Full-time, Immediate Start

We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to inspire the next generation of scientists and gain valuable experience in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging science lessons across various topics including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Support students with their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources for practical experiments and demonstrations.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual student needs.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related field).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all abilities.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
