Job description

Student Support Role in Yate/Winterbourne

Do you have experience working with children or supporting young adults? Are you eager to help students achieve their goals?

A secondary school in Yate is seeking a dedicated individual to support their pupils. You'll work closely with teachers, assist in delivering lessons, provide 1:1 support and group coaching, and help with assessments.

Role Details:

  • Hours: Full-time, 8:15 am to 3:30 pm
  • Start Date: Immediate

Requirements:

  • Enhanced Childcare DBS on the update service (we can assist in obtaining this)
  • 24 months of recent references
  • Flexible working hours and strong communication skills
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
  • Relevant experience in a similar role (e.g., graduates, support workers, sports coaches, youth leaders)
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (A* - C or 9 - 4)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
