Do you have a passion for working with young people? Are you interested in working in an environment where you can impact the lives of young people who are working through difficult times?

Teaching Personnel is currently looking for a resilient, adaptable, and confident individual to work in a secondary school close to Keynsham to support pupils with their social, emotional, and academic needs, enabling them to become independent learners. You would be working closely under the direction of the SENCO/Inclusion Team to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is considering a career in education, psychology, social work, or mental health awareness.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Great initiative and enthusiasm to get stuck in and learn
  • Comfortability dealing with and supporting challenging behaviour
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, and parents/carers
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to both work and the behaviours of students
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to think quickly
  • A confident, positive, and resilient mindset
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (A* - C or 9 – 4)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
