Your Role:

As a Safeguarding Officer, you will:

• Act as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns.
• Ensure schools meet all statutory safeguarding requirements.
• Provide advice, support, and training to staff on safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of safeguarding incidents and follow up appropriately.
• Work closely with multi-agency teams to protect and support vulnerable students.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience in a safeguarding or pastoral role within an educational setting.
• A solid understanding of current safeguarding legislation (e.g., Keeping Children Safe in Education).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
