Position: Language Teacher (Spanish, French, German, or Other)

Position Overview:
As a Language Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that promote language learning and cultural understanding. You will inspire students to develop their communication skills, build confidence in speaking and writing, and prepare them for success in language examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging language lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in the target language.
  • Encourage a positive attitude toward learning languages and understanding different cultures.
  • Prepare students for language assessments and exams, ensuring they achieve their best potential.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to cater to different learning styles.
  • Foster a classroom environment where students feel confident in using the target language.
  • Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting lessons accordingly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • A degree in a language-related field (Spanish, French, German, etc.) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching languages at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about teaching languages and inspiring students to explore global cultures.
  • Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
