A highly respected Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) invites applications for a Teacher of English to join the permanent teaching team of a rapidly improving secondary school in Essex. The Role:
The Teacher of English will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 teaching if appropriate.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching resources.
- Inspire students to achieve their full potential in English and cultivate a passion for reading and writing.
- Support the wider aims and ethos of the school and the MAT.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes in English, or show strong potential to do so.
- Have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach across the secondary range.
- Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
- Show a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people and a commitment to their success.
- Be reflective, collaborative, and eager to contribute to the development of the department and the school as a whole.
