Job Title: Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Birmingham
School: Primary or Secondary (your preference)
Salary: £450 - £490 per week – Term Time Only
Job Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
Start Date: September 2024
Teacher Training: Direct route to teacher training in September 2025
Job Requirements:
- Psychology degree (2:2 or above)
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE A*- C)
- Passion for supporting children’s learning
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable
- Commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their learning, both individually and in groups
- Assist with classroom activities to ensure full participation
- Work alongside teachers to provide extra support during lessons
- Hold high expectations for students’ academic and personal progress
