Job description

Psychology graduate SEN teaching assistant 

Teaching personnel are currently recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to join a school in central manchester. You will be working to support the pupils within the SEN provision. The pupils within this provision have different needs including ADHD, autism and dyslexia. The pupils may also display difficult behaviour traits. 

This excellent school prides themselves on providing exciting new learning activities, capturing the children’s interest, and helping them develop positive attitudes to learning.  The children at this school settle quickly due to the highly nurturing environment and caring staff.

Responsibilities of the role

-          Supporting the teacher with challenging behaviour in the classroom 

-          Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis

-          Supporting pupils with learning development

-          Patient

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
