Psychology Graduate – Learning Support Assistant
Location: Special School, Birmingham
Salary: £400 - £450 per week
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm Opportunities Available

The Role

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for Psychology graduates to join a special school in Birmingham. This school specializes in supporting students with Autism, Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Learning Difficulties. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have a vital role in empowering students and helping them on their path to greater independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to children and young adults with educational, social, and sensory/additional needs.
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups to make learning accessible, engaging, and enjoyable.
  • Learn and implement a variety of teaching methods across age groups, including Early Years, Primary, Secondary, and Post-16.
